Sri. Bhaskar Nagaraja, Sri. Samuel Dorairaj and Smt. Greeshma G.R of Intel visited the school to review Intel Projects ““Creating leaders of tomorrow public speaking workshops for high school students “ and “Developing Eco-friendly pesticides “. The day was also coincided with visit of Sri. Ajay and Sri. Vignesh from Sales Force and Soumya Bhat from Medtronics. The group engaged our high school children in our amphitheater in useful discussions.
Development of Corporate Citizenship program concluded on Tuesday, 20th June. The team gave final presentations on their projects and also useful suggestions to sustain the school. Karthik & Renu Dey presented Fund Raising plans, Anitesh and Aditi gave a plan for starting a student home at Anjana and the third team Pushan and Shyamala presented their work on the organic farming (a user guide to Organic Farming and Economics of Organic Farming).
World Yoga Day was celebrated at Anjana. Day long Yoga Sessions included discussions, demonstrations, practice sessions in types of Yoga, Psychic Physiology of Yoga, Introduction to Astaga Yoga, “Sit with Straight-Back to become intelligent”, Pranayama and Yoga Nidra. Obviously, the most enjoyable session was Yoga Nidra!
Team of 7th grade boys were excited that their science demonstration had worked – thanks to wind-free weather after several days. We had seen them trying out this activity for several days. Amazing and highly motivated team!
